Grade School Guernica 2022

Ron English’s “Grade School Guernica 2022” places his interpretation of Picasso’s Guernica within a schoolyard carnival, with children as both the bomber pilot and the terrified civilians. Overlaid with the colors of the Ukrainian flag, the image demands that we not look away from the true victims of all war: children. In partnership with VeVe, Ron English presents this special digital print with all net proceeds going to the New Zealand Red Cross for Ukrainian refugee relief. © Ron English
